Power Scalper

The Power Scalper strategy is designed to exploit short-term trading opportunities in the volatile world of cryptocurrencies. This strategy combines three powerful indicators: Relative Strength Index (RSI), SSL, and Trend Direction Force Index. Each of these indicators provides unique insights into market dynamics, and together they offer an impressive win rate of 80% in backtests.

Used Indicators #

1. Relative Strength Index (RSI): RSI measures the speed and change of price movements. It oscillates between zero and 100 and is commonly used to identify overbought or oversold conditions in a market.

2. SSL: The SSL indicator is used to identify if the trend is bullish or bearish. By comparing the current price to the high and low of the past ten periods, SSL generates two values: ssl_up and ssl_down. The crossing of these two lines can give trade signals.

3. Trend Direction Force Index: This index combines price movement, volume, and time into a single value representing the overall power or force behind a move. It helps traders understand the strength of a price movement and identify potential reversals.

Trading Conditions #

A long signal is triggered when the following conditions are met:

  • The RSI value exceeds 70, indicating an overbought condition.
  • The closing price of the asset is greater than ssl_up.

Short Conditions #

A short signal is triggered when:
