This section aims to provide an overview of the types of trades our bot currently supports. Our bot is under continuous development, and we are working diligently to incorporate new features and capabilities to enhance your trading experience. However, it’s important to understand the features and limitations of the current setup to make optimal use of the bot.
Trading Platform and Instrument Type #
As of now, our bot supports derivatives trading exclusively on Bybit. We are exploring opportunities to expand to other platforms and types of instruments, but these enhancements are part of our future roadmap.
Long and Short Trades #
Our bot allows you to take both long and short positions. This means you can profit from both upward and downward price movements. When the bot is set to long, it anticipates the price of the asset to rise. Conversely, when set to short, it anticipates the price to fall.
Order Placement Based on Absolute Amounts #
At present, our bot places orders based on absolute amounts. This means you need to specify the exact amount for each trade. We currently do not support order placement based on a percentage of the user’s assets. This is something we are considering for future updates.
Stop Loss and Take Profit #
Our bot implements risk management by allowing you to set stop loss and take profit levels. However, currently, these are only configurable as percentages, and not absolute values. When setting these levels, you specify the percentage of the trade amount that you are willing to risk or the profit level at which you want to exit the trade.
Please stay tuned for updates as we continue to develop and expand the capabilities of our trading bot. We appreciate your patience and support as we work to make our bot more versatile and useful for all types of traders.
